Scope
|
This session aims at bringing together experimentalists, geodynamicists, geophysicists and geochemists to discuss the effects of water on the large mantle wedge, and the transfer and possible recycling of water down to the lower mantle and core-mantle boundary. Integration of different approaches help us to decipher the role of water in subduction and its contribution to the Earth's evolution.
