Scope Recent earthquake predictability studies emphasize the importance of testing forecast models under global collaboration. The Japanese testing center is operating such tests for registered models. The findings may yield a better understanding of the models' basics, particularly physical aspects. Our session's focus will be predictability research in Japan, California, New Zealand and other regions.
Notes 1. All presentations in the session (S-SS022 Global Collaborative Earthquake Predictability Research) must be made in English. 2. The session is held on 24 May 2010 in the allocated room 301A for oral presentations starting in the morning and in the Convention Hall for poster presentations starting in the lunch time. Because of no PC compatible laptop as standard equipment in the room, you need to bring a laptop computer to make your presentation. Please connect your computer to the projector and confirm the proper operation before your presentation.
