Scope The Ms 8.0 Wenchuan earthquake, which occurred in Sichuan, China, on May 12, 2008, is one of the most devastating recent earthquakes in the world. This session will focus on, but not limited to, the new findings on the tectonics, seismology, geodynamics, geo-electromagnetics, earthquake engineering, and earthquake hydrology related to this earthquake.
