Scope Stress inversion is a technique to estimate the crustal stresses from focal mechanisms of earthquake and meso-scale faults at outcrops. This session aims at discussing unsolved problems about the study in both fields of geophysics and geology. We welcome presentations of technique, case study and rock experiments / numerical simulations to verify stresses estimated by the inversion.
