Scope
|
We have never clearly answered major global questions: what are the architectures and compositions of the oceanic lithosphere? The formation and modification of the oceanic plate would cause changing in surface environments, the formation of mineral resources, earthquake, and igneous activity through the Earth history to the future, which should impact on our life. The session welcome those who eager to decipher any messages from the oceanic plate using any methods, such as fields work (e.g. ophiolite, ocean floor), geophysical survey, simulation, experiment, etc.
