Scope
|
Rock-water interaction plays a major role in various ore forming processes through leaching, transportation, concentration, and deposition/precipitation of useful elements. Recently, importance of crustal water and its interaction with surrounding rocks has been recognized in many fields in earth and planetary sciences as well as resource geology. We can know the characteristics and distribution of the past fluid trapped in rocks and those of the present fluid below us by geochemical, geological and geophysical explorations.
We would like to invite various presentations relating to rock -water interactions, covering not only economic geology, but relating research fields.
