Scope Recent advances in volcano monitoring enable eruption forecast to some extent; however, forecasting eruption styles still remains a challenge in disaster mitigation planning. Under this circumstance, development of "Real Time Volcano Hazard Assessment" that assesses risks in the near future based on current observations is critical for hazard prevention. To establish "Real Time Volcano Hazard Assessment", wide range of skills and knowledge include database preparation and management, simulation techniques of eruption plume, lava flow, pyroclastic flow, debris flow and debris avalanche, expressive technique to make the decisions by the governments and residents easier, and underlying sociological and psychological knowledge are essential. We invite talks and broad reviews related to these topics. Talks on pure volcanology related to the topics and specific examples of eruption crisis are also encouraged.
