Scope Stress inversion is a technique to estimate the crustal stresses from focal mechanisms of earthquakes and meso-scale faults at outcrops. This session aims at discussing unsolved problems of crustal stress and dynamics studied in both fields of geophysics and geology. We welcome presentations of technique, case study and rock experiments / numerical simulations to verify stresses estimated by the inversion.
