Scope The main purpose of this session is to promote discussion on mutual interaction between Continental and Oceanic zone through water circulation. The global-scale material circulation induced by River runoff through oceanic general circulation is established as one of the major topics on Continental-Oceanic Interaction, where the ENSO / IOD influence into continental climate as major topics on Oceanic-Continental Interaction. Numerical simulation and field observation of radionuclide transport from continental zone into ocean and its potential impact, material intrusion through rivers into lakes and estuaries: such themes are also considered as important topics of this session.
Notes Speaker should feel free to use their own laptops for their session. However, the conveners are expected to receive powerpoint or other relevant information. Speaker should arrive 5 minutes in prior to the corresponding session.
