The aim of this session is the discussions about the 2011 eruption of Shinmoedake, Kirishima Volcano, from various viewpoints. This session will include the reports of field observations and survey, proposals of magma and eruption models,reviews about the previous activity of Shinmoedake, and reports about the hazard mitigation programs, but not limited to them.
